Karyn O'Beirne

Karyn O'Beirne was ordained an interfaith and interspiritual minister by One Spirit Seminary in New York. After what she describes as a spontaneous awakening, she began teaching from two sides at once: the Toltec teachings she had received from her own teacher, and the mystical strands running through the world's religions.

In 2019 she completed the Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Certification Program led by Tara Brach and Jack Kornfield. She writes and teaches in a deliberately non-denominational, dogma-free register, and her book *Findings from the Hunting Party's Scout* follows four intense years of that turn — from working soccer mom to ordained faith leader. A lifelong social activist, she keeps that thread in her writing too.
