About the teacher

Ravi Ravindra

Ravi Ravindra trained first as a physicist (B.Sc./M.Tech. from IIT Kharagpur, Ph.D. from the University of Toronto) before adding philosophy and religion, becoming Professor Emeritus at Dalhousie University in Halifax, Canada, where he taught across Physics, Philosophy and Comparative Religion. He is a Fellow of the Temenos Academy and has written numerous books bridging science and mysticism, including Blessed by Mysterious Grace: The Journey of a Pilgrim.

He currently hosts monthly online gatherings (last Sunday of the month via Zoom), teaches a recurring "Exploring the Yoga Sutras" course, and leads occasional in-person weekend retreats and workshops, including a September 2026 retreat in London and October 2026 workshops in Massachusetts.

As long as I remain the way I am, I cannot come to the truth or to God or to the real or absolute, whatever word people want to use.
