Melinda Edwards
Melinda Edwards trained in psychiatry at Stanford after medical school at the Medical University of South Carolina, studied integrative medicine with Andrew Weil, and took part in early research on MDMA-assisted therapy for PTSD. Raised as a child of medical missionaries in a Mayan village in Guatemala, she later pursued meditation retreats and time in India before writing Psyche & Spirit, and founding the nonprofit Living Darshan focused on autism.
She currently offers virtual "Awakening Group" sessions on Tuesdays and Sundays and private consultations, alongside speaking engagements and media appearances.
