Stephen D'Amico
D'Amico experienced unusual states of awareness in childhood and a profound shift in identity in his early twenties, which became the foundation for his teaching. He worked for years in conflict resolution, restorative justice and school teaching before beginning to teach publicly around 1996, and co-founded Urban Ashram Toronto with his wife; he describes his guidance as grounded in direct exploration rather than a single doctrine.
He currently offers private sessions in person, by video or phone, group gatherings, and a step-by-step meditation school with free manuals, and holds regular in-person gatherings at Urban Ashram Toronto.
“Recognizing your true self is never a solitary act. It creates a ripple effect that touches your family, your community, and the wider world.”Stephen D'Amico
