Kevin James

Kevin James is an Australian singer-songwriter whose devotional music is offered without religious dogma. He weaves mantras drawn from traditions around the world together with what he calls heartsongs — his own compositions, in English, carrying Eastern philosophy in a form people can sing straight away.

Since 2010 he has travelled internationally leading chanting circles alongside his wife Susana, who plays harmonium. Beyond the circles he offers multi-day retreats, a facilitator course for people who want to lead chanting themselves, and a chakra-toning practice he calls Active Aum Meditation.
