American-born teacher of self-inquiry based in Australia, offering silent retreats and regular online meetings in a direct, satsang-style format.
Isaac Shapiro has taught self-inquiry internationally for several decades, in a lineage close to the Advaita satsang tradition, with an emphasis on direct recognition over technique or gradual practice. His teaching style favours long periods of silence punctuated by dialogue, often within residential retreat settings.
He leads a full 2026 international schedule including retreats in Fremantle and Margaret River, Australia, and a two-week retreat in Chieming, Germany, alongside regular Zoom meetings held three times a week.
“An invitation to recognise the Truth of yourself, who you are and have always been. As you are already.”Isaac Shapiro
