Gautam Sachdeva

Gautam Sachdeva was born and raised in Mumbai; after his father's death when he was fourteen, and later influenced by his mother's own spiritual awakening, he began his own inquiry into non-duality. He met Ramesh Balsekar, a teacher in the lineage of Nisargadatta Maharaj, in February 2000 and became a devoted student attending his weekly satsangs. In late 1999 Sachdeva founded the publishing house Yogi Impressions, which later published the Indian edition of Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now, and he has since authored several books on Advaita and daily living.

He continues to teach from Mumbai, holding in-person satsangs at his residence roughly twice a month, alongside online Zoom sessions and quarterly residential retreats around India.
