Eva Natanya, PhD, is a Tibetan Buddhist scholar, translator, and co-founder of the Center for Contemplative Research, known for bridging Tibetan Buddhist philosophy with Christian contemplative theology.
Eva Natanya holds a PhD in Indian and Tibetan Buddhism from the University of Virginia, with a dissertation on Tsongkhapa's philosophy of tantra, and has spent over two decades studying and translating classical Tibetan texts from both the Gelug and Nyingma Dzogchen traditions. She also holds a Master's in Christian Systematic Theology, and is a longtime teaching collaborator of Dr. B. Alan Wallace.
She is a co-founder of the Center for Contemplative Research, based primarily in Crestone, Colorado, where she serves as a teacher and retreat leader. Ongoing access to her teaching runs mainly through CCR's monthly online sessions and recorded online courses and retreats on shamatha, Dzogchen preliminaries, and Buddhist-Christian dialogue.
