German-born spiritual teacher and author of The Power of Now, known for pointing directly to presence beyond the thinking mind.
Eckhart Tolle (born 1948) describes a profound inner transformation in his late twenties as the starting point of his teaching, which he later distilled into The Power of Now and A New Earth, two of the best-selling spiritual books of recent decades. His language deliberately avoids the vocabulary of any single tradition, instead pointing directly at the distinction between the stream of thought and the awareness in which it appears.
Now in his late seventies, Tolle continues to teach internationally, including a European tour planned for autumn 2026, alongside a large existing archive of recorded talks and retreats through his own foundation.
“Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.”Eckhart Tolle
