Meeting the Shadow on the Spiritual Path
Connie Zweig, PhD, on Jungian shadow work and spiritual practice.

Non-duality · Shadow work
Retired Jungian psychotherapist and author who pioneered "shadow work" as a spiritual practice and now teaches on conscious aging and non-duality.
Connie Zweig holds a Ph.D. in depth psychology, trained at the Los Angeles Jung Institute, and ran a private practice in Los Angeles for over two decades as founder of the Center for Shadow Work and Spiritual Counseling. She is known for the anthology Meeting the Shadow, for Meeting the Shadow on the Spiritual Path, for Romancing the Shadow, and for The Inner Work of Age: Shifting from Role to Soul, which reframes aging as a spiritual developmental process rather than decline.
Now retired from clinical practice, she teaches primarily online through recorded courses and webinars, writes on Substack, and co-hosts a monthly podcast on non-duality with her husband.
“To live with shadow awareness is to turn away from the peaks toward the valleys, away from the heights and the rarified air toward the depths and the dark and the dense.”Connie Zweig
