About the teacher

William Peters

William Peters holds an M.A., M.Ed., and MFT license, and maintains a clinical practice at the Family Therapy Institute in Santa Barbara focused on end-of-life counseling; he has also volunteered with Zen Hospice. Since 2011 he has directed the Shared Crossing Research Initiative, developing the Shared Crossing Protocols and the Spectrum of End-of-Life Experiences framework, and is the author of "At Heaven's Door" (Simon & Schuster, 2022).

Through the Shared Crossing Project he currently offers workshops, webinars, an SDE sharing/consultation group, one-on-one counseling, and on-demand self-study programs, and has spoken through organizations such as Omega Institute and INELDA.
