American singer-songwriter whose roots and folk writing carries the Eastern spiritual traditions he encountered as a teenager, threaded through with electronic textures.
Trevor Hall was raised on the coast of South Carolina and left to study classical guitar at the Idyllwild Arts Academy in California, where, by his own account, he first met the Eastern spiritual traditions that have shaped his writing since.
The music is rooted in folk and reggae-inflected songwriting, more recently opened up with electronic texture. His latest record is Trevor Hall and the Great In-Between.
“this song was a gift. i love this song so much. it's brought a lot to me in the short time it's been with me.”Trevor Hall
