Solala Towler has spent over 30 years studying and teaching Daoist practice, including qigong, Taoist meditation, the I Ching, and tea ceremony. Based in Eugene, Oregon, he served as editor and publisher of The Empty Vessel: A Journal of Daoist Philosophy and Practice for 25 years.
He is the author of 12 books on Daoist arts and Taoism, a founding board member and past president of the National Qigong Association, and has led numerous study tours to Daoist sacred sites in China and Taiwan.
