About the teacher

Sharon Landrith

Born in 1947 in a small town in Kansas, USA, and raised in the Christian tradition, Sharon Landrith studied earlier with Jean Klein and explored Buddhist meditation and the non-dual path before meeting Adyashanti at a conference in 2000; after a series of awakenings, he asked her to teach. She also works as an intuitive counselor, reading patterns in the physical and energetic body that block realization, and is profiled among twelve teachers in Rita Marie Robinson's book Ordinary Women, Extraordinary Wisdom.

She leads the Clear Light Sangha, part of the Open Gate Sangha network of Adyashanti and Mukti, now marking its 20-year anniversary, offering satsang, one-on-one dokusan, and multi-day retreats in the US and abroad, including at the Art of Living Retreat Center and Vajra Vidya Retreat Center.

There is a way to freedom from internal suffering. Awake beings across the ages have discovered this truth. My life is in service to that.
