About the teacher

Charles Eisenstein

Charles Eisenstein graduated from Yale University in 1989 with a degree in mathematics and philosophy, then spent much of his twenties in Taiwan working as a translator and studying Chinese and Eastern thought. His books, among them The Ascent of Humanity, Sacred Economics, The More Beautiful World Our Hearts Know Is Possible and Climate: A New Story, return to a recurring theme: that ecological, social and economic crises trace back to a civilizational "story of separation," and that a shift toward interconnection is both possible and underway.

He continues to teach through essays, various video series, live calls, and in-person retreats. He has published podcast series such as A New and Ancient Story Podcast and the Halfmoon Podcast. You can visit his website at charleseisenstein.org for the latest news, as well as access all archived content.
