About the teacher

Richard Sylvester

Richard Sylvester lives on the border of West Kent and East Sussex, England, and has authored five books on non-duality, including Confessions of a Seeker: Adventures in Spirituality, Therapy and Belief and The Book of No One. Fellow non-duality teacher Tony Parsons has described his work as free of any agenda to give seekers a path or purpose, centring instead on the direct recognition of what Sylvester calls "seamless oneness."

He currently holds in-person meetings requiring advance booking and payment, alongside one-to-one sessions by WhatsApp, FaceTime, phone or in person, and posts talks to a YouTube channel and a Meetup group used to announce future dates.

“Nothing will get the person out of their prison because the person is the prison. When the person drops away, it is seen that there never was a prison in the first place.”
