Marlies Cocheret de la Morinière
Marlies Cocheret de la Morinière (Zen name Myoku) trained in silent retreats at Jikoji Zen Center in the Santa Cruz Mountains before meeting Adyashanti in the late 1990s; in 2000 he invited her to teach and formally welcomed her into his lineage.
She now leads Deep Water Sangha, offering weekly online satsangs and guided meditations alongside in-person gatherings and silent retreats in the United States, plus a related "Way of Woman" program; she typically takes a break from teaching each August.
