Bhakti · Light Transmission
South African-born spiritual teacher and healer known for "Divine Light Transmission" and darshan, teaching bhakti-rooted devotion through her foundation and Lightworker Training School since the late 1990s.
Born in Johannesburg in 1970 and raised in a Judeo-Christian household, Mirabai Devi describes early spontaneous mystical experiences and a defining spiritual awakening in Goa, India, as a young woman. She founded The Center of Light in South Africa before relocating to North America in 1998, and has since taught what she calls Divine Light Transmission, a bhakti-rooted practice of healing and darshan, worldwide.
Now based in Hawaii, she leads the Mirabai Devi Foundation and a Lightworker Training School with an active schedule of darshans, healing circles, and kirtan evenings across the northeastern United States.
“The whole Universe is made of love, every atom, every fiber, every cell, it is all a creation of love, created in love, and very few experience this. Those who do, experience who they truly are.”Mirabai Devi
