Miles Neale
Miles Neale, PsyD, has studied for over twenty-five years with Geshe Tenzin Zopa, a Tibetan Buddhist teacher trained at Kopan Monastery in Nepal, and has taught contemplative psychology at Harvard, Columbia, and Cornell. His approach blends the Tibetan Buddhist lam-rim ("gradual path") tradition with Jungian psychology and Joseph Campbell's mythology, and he is the author of Gradual Awakening and Return with Elixir.
Through Gradual Path, the online learning community he founded in 2018, he currently offers foundational and intermediate courses on the lam rim plus a Contemplative Studies Immersion certificate program, and he leads annual pilgrimages, including a trek to Nepal's Tsum Valley and walking pilgrimages along Spain's Camino de Santiago and Japan's Kumano Kodo.
