Master M

Mario Mantese grew up in a small Swiss town and showed early gifts for clairvoyance and healing alongside a passion for music, joining the Afro-American soul-funk band Heatwave as bassist at 20. The group sold over ten million albums, earned multiple Grammy nominations, and played a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden; he remains the band's sole surviving original member.

In 1978 he was gravely injured in a violent incident in London, clinically died, and underwent emergency open-heart surgery followed by a prolonged coma, which he describes as a conscious passage through "multitudes of bright and dark worlds and dimensions." He awoke blind, mute and paralyzed, conditions doctors called him "a living miracle" for later overcoming. He went on to teach for many years in Switzerland in German, English and French, hosting gatherings for international guests, and is the author of Vision of Death, an account of his near-death experience. He no longer offers darshans or gatherings but remains very active, writing daily.

Mantese continues to focus much of his time on writing.
