Successor to Hazrat Azad Rasool and current shaykh of the School of Sufi Teaching, a Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi order with local groups across the United Kingdom and internationally.
Shaykh Hamid Hasan succeeded Hazrat Azad Rasool as head of the School of Sufi Teaching following Rasool's death in 2006, continuing a Naqshbandi-Mujaddidi lineage that also draws on the Chishti, Shadhili and Qadiri orders. The school's approach centers on individual spiritual guidance alongside group meditation practice, offered through local groups that meet regularly across the UK and internationally.
The order holds periodic multi-day retreats at locations around the world, alongside its network of local weekly groups.
