About the teacher

Gail Brenner

Gail Brenner holds a doctorate and background in clinical psychology, which she combines with insight gained from her own intensive meditation practice, including a formative silent retreat that shifted her focus from conventional self-improvement toward direct presence. She is the author of several books, including Suffering Is Optional and The End of Self-Help, which argue against fix-the-self models of healing in favor of meeting experience, including trauma, directly.

She currently teaches mainly online through her recurring "Coming Home Together" gatherings on Zoom, with occasional in-person satsangs in Northern California; private sessions are currently full, so ongoing access runs mainly through her group offerings, blog, and books.

The happiness you seek is already here, waiting for your loving attention.
