Leonard Jacobson
Leonard Jacobson trained as a lawyer in Melbourne before a series of spontaneous awakening experiences beginning in 1981 turned him toward spiritual teaching. His approach is not affiliated with any established religious tradition but centers on a two-step path: first learning the art of being fully present, then becoming a master of one's own mind and ego. He has authored seven books and received the Religious Science International Peace Prize in 2005.
Now in his eighties and based in Asheville, North Carolina, Jacobson continues to teach actively: he leads monthly in-person Sunday gatherings in Asheville, live Deep Presence Zoom sessions, online courses, and private one-on-one sessions.
“The present moment never leaves you. It is you who leaves the present moment. (from an interview in The Edge Magazine, edgemagazine.net/2019/07/presence/)”Leonard Jacobson
