About the teacher
Ellie Roozdar
Born and raised in Iran, Roozdar immigrated to the United States in 1979 and worked as a mathematics teacher and later in IT quality assurance before turning to full-time spiritual teaching from 2001 onward. She calls her approach "Erfan," the Persian/Sufi term for mystical gnosis, after Rumi, centering on inner silence and the question "Who am I?" rather than any acquired technique.
She currently offers two "Ultimate Truth" retreats a month, aimed at students already deep into their search, through the Meeting Truth platform and her own site, meditationerfan.com. No public calendar with specific dates or venues could be confirmed, so dates should be requested directly.
