On working directly with difficult emotion as raw material rather than an obstacle.
Kagyu · Kagyu & Nyingma
Kagyu and Nyingma-trained lineage holder and founder of Nalandabodhi, teaching Dzogchen and Mahāmudrā to an international audience.
Dzogchen Ponlop Rinpoche holds transmission in both the Kagyu and Nyingma lineages and founded Nalandabodhi, a network of Buddhist study and meditation centres, to teach Mahāmudrā and Dzogchen practice combined with rigorous philosophical study, deliberately adapted for a contemporary international audience.
He leads a Dzogchen-mindfulness retreat in Singapore in March 2026 (also offered online), a dharma-talk series in Seattle in April, an ongoing worldwide Nalandabodhi course programme, and a Losar address each year.
