The Last Judgment Is the End of Self-Judgment
Ruiz on ending self-judgment as a central Toltec teaching.
Toltec Wisdom
Mexican author of The Four Agreements, teaching within the Toltec wisdom tradition; largely stepped back from personal public teaching.
Don Miguel Ruiz drew on his family's Toltec lineage to write The Four Agreements, a widely read distillation of Toltec wisdom into four practical principles for personal freedom, which became one of the best-selling books in the modern spiritual-teaching field. He survived a near-fatal heart attack in 2002 and a heart transplant in 2010.
His official site describes him as now focused on 'new creative projects' guided by his family of messengers; live teaching under the Miguel Ruiz name is now given mainly by his sons, don Miguel Ruiz Jr. and don Jose Ruiz, while the brand and teachings continue through the family.
“Be impeccable with your word. Don't take anything personally. Don't make assumptions. Always do your best.”don Miguel Ruiz
