Dickinson recounts her early awakening experience and years studying with teachers including Adyashanti before beginning to teach herself.
Non-duality · Satsang
Asheville, North Carolina-based satsang teacher in the Ramana Maharshi/Adyashanti nondual lineage, offering inquiry and presence through monthly Zoom and in-person satsangs since 2011.
Alaya Dickinson traces her teaching lineage to Neelam, a teacher within the tradition of Ramana Maharshi, and later received encouragement and friendship from nondual teacher Adyashanti, which supported her move into formal teaching. Rather than following a renunciate path, she frames marriage, motherhood and ordinary domestic life as her spiritual training ground, and began offering satsang in 2011 after people started seeking her out.
She currently offers satsang on Zoom on the first Wednesday and third Sunday of each month, plus in-person satsang on the second Thursday of each month at WellSpring in Asheville, NC, along with private meetings by Zoom or in person; check alayasatsang.org/calender for current dates before planning to attend.
“Presence heals all suffering. Satsang invites us to meet what is here so deeply that nothing is left to keep us apart.”Alaya Dickinson
