Susan Raven
Susan Raven has performed as a singer-songwriter since her teens, playing London's acoustic club scene in the 1990s and releasing three CDs (Charioteer, Ravensong, Glittering Cities). She is a devoted student of Rudolf Steiner's anthroposophy, trained in supersensible perception under practitioners including Dorian Schmidt of the Biodynamic Research Institute, and is the author of Nature Spirits: The Remembrance, a guide to the elemental kingdom.
Based in mid-Wales for the past 16 years, she runs workshops and talks across the UK on nature spirits and Steiner's teachings, alongside concerts. Her published events calendar was last confirmed for 2025, with no 2026 dates listed at time of research, so current availability should be checked directly with her before planning to attend.
“The task of the troubadour has always been to listen to the wind and anticipate the future, to discern the fine nuances of a spiritual age and to play the dual roles of receiver and transmitter.”Susan Raven
