Vedanta · Classical Vedanta
Monastic nun (pravrajika) of Sri Sarada Math, stationed at Ramakrishna Sarada Mission in New Delhi, teaching classical Advaita Vedanta and Yoga philosophy through lectures and retreats at Vedanta centres worldwide.
Pravrajika Divyanandaprana received monastic initiation in 2007 under Swami Ranganathanandaji Maharaj and has studied and taught classical texts including the Yoga Sutras, the Upanishads and the Brahma Sutras with Shankara's commentary, alongside Ramakrishna-Vivekananda literature. She served as headmistress/principal of Nivedita Vidya Mandir (2014–2019), is editor of the Sri Sarada Math journal Samvit, and teaches yoga-vedanta courses at IIT Delhi.
She travels internationally to Vedanta centres and Sri Sarada Math convents for talks and retreats; a confirmed example is her September 2026 visit to the Vedanta Society of Western Washington in the Seattle area, including public talks, a devotional Arati/potluck, and a two-day retreat at the Society's Tapovan property.
“The mind has to be cultivated by the meditation process. (from her interview transcript on Buddha at the Gas Pump, batgap.com/pravrajika-divyanandaprana-mataji-transcript/)”Pravrajika Divyanandaprana
