About the teacher

Jaya Kishori

Born Jaya Sharma in Sujangarh, Rajasthan in 1995, Jaya Kishori grew up in a devout family and built a following as a Katha performer and bhajan singer, often described as a modern voice for the bhakti of Meera. Her multi-day Bhagwat Katha and Ramayana sessions combine devotional song with storytelling and practical reflections on relationships and daily life, drawing some of the largest young audiences in India's contemporary devotional scene.

She performs and teaches primarily in Hindi, reaching a wider audience through an extensive YouTube and social media presence alongside her in-person katha events across India.
