Ishtar (Thomas Howell)
Howell, known as Ishtar, began intensive meditation practice as a teenager after a near-death experience, joined the Ishayas' Ascension community around age seventeen, and completed a multi-year teacher-training program before spending roughly two decades teaching Ascension meditation across North America and East Asia, including centers in Hong Kong, Finland, Switzerland and Michigan. He also works as an intuitive astrologer specializing in evolutionary astrology.
Now based in Portland, Oregon, he continues to teach weekend Ascension courses both online and in person, along with periodic retreats.
