Former Hewlett-Packard engineer turned ISKCON monk and life coach, known worldwide for practical, down-to-earth talks on relationships, career and wellbeing drawn from the Bhagavad Gita.
Gaur Gopal Das trained as an electrical engineer and worked briefly at Hewlett-Packard before leaving in 1996 to join the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON), where he has now spent close to three decades. He built a distinctive voice as a life coach, translating the Bhagavad Gita and Gaudiya Vaishnava thought into plain, practical guidance on modern concerns: relationships, career pressure, self-worth.
His reach is unusually large for a monk, with talks delivered to the United Nations and the British Parliament alongside a steady stream of short-form videos to over 17 million social media followers. He teaches primarily in English, also in Hindi, largely through online video rather than fixed retreats.
