Cynthia Jurs received dharmacharya (dharma teacher) transmission in 1994 from Zen Master Thich Nhat Hanh within his Order of Interbeing, and in 2018 was recognized as an honorary lama in the Vajrayana tradition for her work with the Earth Treasure Vase practice, a ceremonial practice she received from a Tibetan lama during a 1990 pilgrimage to Nepal. She later developed a Tara-inspired Gaia visualization practice and founded the Gaia Mandala Global Healing Community, and is the author of Summoned by the Earth: Becoming a Holy Vessel for Healing Our World.
Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico, she currently leads full-moon meditations, dharma talks, pilgrimages to Earth Treasure Vase burial sites, and retreats through Gaia Mandala.
