Bhikkhu Analayo
Bhikkhu Analayo is a scholar-monk and emeritus professor at the University of Hamburg, associated with the Barre Center for Buddhist Studies in Massachusetts, known for close textual research into the earliest recorded Buddhist teachings, particularly the Satipatthana Sutta. His teaching style favours rigorous, source-based study over charismatic presence.
He teaches almost exclusively through pre-recorded video lectures in online programmes such as Satipatthana Meditation and Brahmaviharas & Emptiness, and is explicitly not available for talks or public events; his large talk archive is otherwise distributed through Dharma Seed.
