About the teacher

Anam Thubten

Anam Thubten trained within the Nyingma lineage of Tibetan Buddhism before founding the Dharmata Foundation to teach a Dzogchen-influenced approach adapted for lay Western students, deliberately outside a monastic or highly ritualised framework. His teaching favours plain language and direct pointing to open awareness over elaborate ceremony.

He leads a full 2026 weekend-retreat schedule across the United States and Europe, including sessions in Idaho, Arkansas, London, Boston and Nova Scotia.

If I look deeply, there's no Anam Thubten.
