Mahesh Kale
Indian singer, born in Pune on 12 January 1976, who trained with Pandit Jitendra Abhisheki of the Agra gharana in the gurukul way. His concert series Abhangwari is built on the abhang, the devotional verse of the Warkari tradition of Maharashtra, whose poets are sung on the pilgrimage to Vitthal at Pandharpur. He also sings classical and semi-classical repertoire.
