A Punjabi devotional sung in the qawwali tradition of the Punjab, where Sher Miandad Khan's family has sung for generations.
Sher Miandad Khan was born in Pakpattan in 1968 and has fronted his own qawwali party since 1996. The music runs in his family: Dina Qawwal was his grandfather, and Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan his cousin. He sings regularly at the shrine of Baba Farid, the Sufi saint buried in his home town, and Pakistan conferred the Pride of Performance on him in 2023.
