Zvi Ish-Shalom
Zvi Ish-Shalom holds a PhD in Jewish Mysticism from Brandeis University and rabbinic ordination within kabbalistic and hasidic lineages, alongside a background as a certified Rolfer. He has taught for about two decades as an associate professor of Jewish mysticism at Naropa University in Boulder, Colorado, and is the author of three books, including The Kedumah Experience. He founded the Kedumah Institute, which he describes as a universal path of awakening rooted in ancient Hebrew mysticism, combining scholarly, contemplative, and embodied approaches.
His current teaching runs largely online, through the Kedumah learning platform, the Soulship community he has guided since 2014, and periodic live online meditation and Q&A sessions. No confirmed schedule of in-person retreats is currently listed.
“Kedumah is really a trans-religious approach that is about supporting humanity, supporting the planet to reconnect to its primordial source, to its primordial nature.”Zvi Ish-Shalom
