Shlomo Katz
Shlomo Katz is a singer, songwriter and rabbi, born in New Jersey in 1980 to the cantor Avshalom Katz. A yeshiva in Ra'anana is where he first met the music and the teaching of Rabbi Shlomo Carlebach, and he has carried that tradition on in melodies of his own. He serves as rabbi of Congregation Shirat David in Efrat, and travels to synagogues and campuses abroad to teach and to lead concerts and kumsitz gatherings of song.
