Pat McCabe

Pat McCabe, known by her spiritual name Woman Stands Shining, is a member of the Diné (Navajo) Nation whose work brings Indigenous ceremonial knowledge into global conversations on ecology, spirituality and social transformation. She has spoken and led ceremony at gatherings across multiple continents, including Chile, Belgium, Ecuador, Peru, Mexico and Bali.

Her writing and teaching, including contributions to Kosmos Journal, center on the role of women as what she calls "relational builders," and on restoring right relationship with water, land and the more-than-human world as a foundation for collective healing.
