Kamlesh D. Patel, known as Daaji, was born in Gujarat and worked for many years as a pharmacist in New York. Since 2014 he has been the fourth guide in the Sahaj Marg lineage of Ram Chandra of Shahjahanpur, which today teaches as Heartfulness: a heart-based meditation practised with the support of a trainer. He leads the movement from Kanha Shanti Vanam near Hyderabad, teaches in English and is the author of "The Heartfulness Way".
