About the teacher

Karen V. Johnson

Karen V. Johnson holds a Juris Doctor from Georgetown Law and previously worked as a federal administrative law judge; after the death of her son she left her legal career, spent two and a half years traveling internationally, and trained as a Master Shaman with Alberto Villoldo's Four Winds Society, specializing in illumination, soul retrieval and death rites within the Medicine Wheel tradition. She is the author of Living Grieving, published by Hay House.

She currently teaches through online workshops and webinars combining shamanic practice, energy medicine and meditation, with themes centered on grief, loss and healing from trauma and abandonment.
