Faiz Ali Faiz
Pakistani qawwal born in 1962 in Sharaqpur, into a family that has sung qawwali for seven or eight generations. Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan chose him personally to take his place at a mehfil, and he is widely regarded as one of the great living voices of the tradition. He performs with his sons Ali Shahbaz and Nazar Abbas.
