Neema Majmudar & Surya Tahora
Neema Majmudar and Surya Tahora teach together as Discover Vedanta. Majmudar left a 17-year career at the United Nations after meeting Swami Dayananda Saraswati in 1986, going on to study with him for three and a half years at the Arsha Vidya Institute and complete a PhD-equivalent qualification in Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit. Tahora, who holds a doctorate in pharmaceutical sciences and an MBA alongside 14 years in corporate roles at L'Oréal and Air France, discovered Vedanta in 1995 and later completed his own PhD in Indian Philosophy and Sanskrit at the Arsha Vidya Institute in 2013; he now also teaches as Professor of Science of Spirituality at the SP Jain Institute of Management & Research in Mumbai.
Together they teach traditional Advaita Vedanta through classes, seminars, and retreats, integrating classical texts such as the Upanishads and Bhagavad Gita with contemporary psychology, largely online since 2020.
