Brenda McMorrow
Brenda McMorrow writes and performs what she calls mantra medicine music, weaving Sanskrit mantra and call-and-response kirtan together with acoustic folk, world rhythms, Spanish medicine songs, and original English compositions. She has performed alongside Snatam Kaur, Deva Premal, Krishna Das, and Jai Uttal at festivals internationally, and Yoga Journal has praised her for expressing deep realization in spare, simple lyrics.
Her latest release is Mantra Lullabies: Dreamtime Re-Imaginings, continuing a body of recorded work centered on using music for healing and spiritual uplift.
