About the teacher

Andrew Holecek

Andrew Holecek focuses his teaching on the Tibetan night-practices, dream yoga, sleep yoga and the bardo teachings on death and dying, bringing these less commonly taught aspects of Tibetan Buddhist practice to a wider audience through books, courses and his Edge of Mind podcast. He teaches in connection with Drala Mountain Center, a centre rooted in the Shambhala lineage.

He has a new book forthcoming through St. Martin's/Sounds True in May 2026, and continues online courses through Tricycle and the Shift Network, alongside his role as Resident Contemplative Scholar at the Institute for Advanced Consciousness Studies.

For the ego, ignorance really is bliss.
