About the teacher
Ajahn Sucitto
Born in London in 1949, Ajahn Sucitto ordained as a bhikkhu in Thailand in 1976 and trained in the Thai Forest lineage of Ajahn Chah. He served as abbot of Cittaviveka from 1992 to 2014 and remains based there, continuing to teach and write.
His many books on meditation and the Buddha's teaching are distributed freely, and his talks are widely available through Dharma Seed. He does not keep a fixed public teaching schedule, offering talks at Cittaviveka as invited by the current abbot.
