Sunday Zazenkai at Kenkō-ji

The weekly zazenkai at Kenkō-ji, the Sōtō Zen temple in Yokohama where Shunmyō Masuno is the eighteenth head priest, every Sunday from 7 to 8 in the morning in the main hall. The temple opens at 6.30 for anyone who wants to help with the cleaning first. Newcomers are welcome and are given instruction beforehand; a first visit is arranged through the temple's own website. The sitting has run since about 1973.
